Parsippany Mayor, Council Members Back DeCroce In LD-26 Assembly Primary Election

(Parsippany, NJ) BettyLou DeCroce said she was “thrilled” to have the endorsement of Parsippany Mayor Jamie Barberio and Town Council members in her run for State Assembly in the June 6th Republican Primary election for Legislative District 26.

Besides Barberio’s backing, DeCroce picked up the endorsement of Council President Loretta Gragnani, Council Vice-President Michael DePierro, and councilmen Frank Neglia and Paul Cairfi.

In endorsing DeCroce, Mayor Barberio said: “she has a long and productive history of service to Parsippany including her nine-plus years as our Assemblywoman.”

“She is a member of our community; she knows our people and our issues; she has served the town in various ways and I know that, if she is elected to the Assembly again, we will have a friend in Trenton who we can count on to help us in meaningful ways,” said Barberio.

In addition to representing Parsippany in the State Assembly, DeCroce was a member of the Board of Adjustment for 11 years and served as a  member of the Parsippany Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, and the local Chamber of Commerce.

“I truly appreciate the support from Mayor Barberio and the council members. Their belief in me and my abilities to represent our community in Trenton is extremely gratifying,” said DeCroce, a Parsippany resident.

“If I am graced with the opportunity to represent Parsippany again, I will be honored to work with Mayor Barberio and the council as they make strides to improve Parsippany,” added DeCroce.
