For Hardworking Representation in Trenton, Elect BettyLou DeCroce. Not Brian Bergen

BettyLou DeCroce has always worked hard for her constituents – and gotten results. During her tenure in the State General Assembly, she served on four or five committees each year, including the Committee on Higher Education, the Commerce and Economic Development Committee, the Banking and Insurance Committee, and the Transportation, Women and Children and Senior Services committees. She cast more than 5,450 votes in the Assembly, including over 1,105 votes during her last term, according to figures released this week by her campaign.

BettyLou DeCroce understands through experience and extensive knowledge of the legislative process that it is in the committees that the hard work of government gets done, said her campaign spokesperson. “In the committees is where Conservative Republicans such as BettyLou spend hours, days, and weeks battling the Democrats and the special interests. The committees shape legislation that the entire Assembly votes on,” said Thom Ammirato.

How many committees does Brian Bergen serve on? 1 – yes, one.

With all the hard work done by others, such as BettyLou DeCroce, Brian Bergen – with only one committee assignment – gets relatively little done for the district.

“He can scream and yell his head off during the Assembly voting sessions about legislation he had nothing to do with. But his theatrics are meaningless, as are his votes,” said DeCroce.

“Brian Bergen is not working very hard in Trenton. BettyLou DeCroce has a documented record of hard work, including having 55 bills signed into law that she was the primary aponsor of,” said the DeCroce campaign.
