DeCroce a Fighter for Business

BettyLou DeCroce has long fought for business as a member of the NJ Assembly, and her advocacy is needed now in Trenton more than ever.

A recent survey of businesses conducted by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association found that 75% of New Jersey business owners do not think Gov. Phil Murphy or the Legislature are doing enough to address business affordability in the state. Perhaps more telling: Only 5% say they are.

Reducing taxes — whether it be corporate, income or property — ranked as the business community’s top suggestion to make the state more affordable, topping even a desire to reduce the cost of health care and regulations. All of this is why the survey overwhelmingly found that the state was not affordable at all for business (36%) or only somewhat affordable (46%).

“The Murphy Administration’s Covid policies ruined many businesses and many lives. And the state’s suffocating tax structure is keeping business away from New Jersey,” said DeCroce who was honored by the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and named a Profile in Courage Award Winner.
