Is That What We Need in Trenton – More Republicans Supporting Liberal Deceit?

In an interview with the NJ Globe editor this past week, Assemblyman Brian Bergen said he will vote for a “disingenuous” bill sponsored by the Democrat leadership. 

If the bill is disingenuous, it means the bill is dishonest and deceitful. So why would Brian Bergen support deceit? To get a few votes?

This Democrat legislation is another election year gimmick promising tax relief to senior citizens. But the bill has no funding mechanism. It is a reckless and deceptive way to buy votes. Even Gov. Murphy says the bill is flawed and he said he will veto it or shut down state government rather than see it become law.

Why does Brian Bergen want to deceive senior citizens? Why is he supporting liberal Democrats?
